✨ Motherhood Doesn’t Come With a Manual — Why I Started MumHack
When you become a mum, no one hands you a manual. Instead, you’re given a baby, a flood of emotions, and a chorus of advice from every direction. Everyone has an opinion on what you should do, how you should feel, and what a “good mum” looks like.
But here’s the truth: none of us have it all figured out. We’re all just trying our best.
For me, becoming a mum was a long and deeply personal journey. My husband and I waited 11 years before finally meeting our daughter. She is our greatest joy — the answer to so many prayers. And yet, even with all that waiting, even with all the love in my heart, motherhood still turned my world upside down.
Before pregnancy, I made the decision to step away from a career I loved. That wasn’t easy. I’ve always loved what I do. But I realised that sometimes, it’s okay to make space. Sometimes, the most important thing isn’t doing more — it’s choosing what matters most.
Still, I’d be lying if I said it was easy. There were days I felt like I was losing myself. Motherhood requires sacrifice — and while I embraced that, I also learned something just as important: loving yourself is part of loving your family too.
That’s why I started MumHack.
Because motherhood doesn’t need more judgement or pressure. It needs support. It needs grace. And it needs a reminder that perfection isn’t the goal — presence is.
MumHack isn’t just about products. It’s about making life a little simpler, so mums like you and me can have more time for what really matters — the hugs, the giggles, the small everyday moments that turn into lifelong memories.
✨ So here’s to us mums: figuring it out as we go.
No manuals. No perfection. No judgement.
Just love, presence, and the courage to keep showing up.
